William Morris was one of the most influential designers of the 19th Century. He was a founding member of the Arts and Crafts movement whose works, along with contemporaries of The Century Guild, remain as fresh and appealing today as yesteryear.
The imposing Morris family home in Lloyd Park, East London, holds the world’s largest collection of his works alongside much admired examples of several contemporaries, including the Pre-Raphaelite artists.
With full access to his original designs, and while liaising closely with archivists, we interpreted his distinctive creations into a series of ever popular modern classics.
